So what do you think of the August 2010 consortium meeting at the University of Maryland. Is the agenda to your liking? Did one panel or speaker really catch your attention?

I really enjoyed the keynote by Dr. Leaning. Topics like this always remind me that as technologists need to reach out to communities in need. Groups dealing with humanitarian issues have huge needs but limited resources. It seems like the work we are doing support communities like law enforcement could be readily adapted. As always the question is how do we better understand the problems of the community and create solution driven by those needs.
